25,000 startups hire 12 employees each under Start-up India program: 25,000 startups have hired 12 employees each under the government’s flagship program Start-up India. As on December 31, 2019, 26,804 start-ups across 555 districts have been recognized as start-ups by DPIIT.
India trains 100 women entrepreneurs in collaboration with Germany: 147 aspiring women entrepreneurs got trained to set up their own business under the Economic Empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs and Start-ups by Women program.

Dhubri tops in financial inclusion and skill development: Dhubri, one of the 117 inspirational districts in the country, achieved a rare distinction recently by topping among the seven districts in Assam in the field of financial inclusion and skill development.
Arunachal Pradesh
Skill development program in Arunachal Pradesh: A skill development program was organised by the Indian Army along with the Hayuliang Mela in coordination with the circle administration in Anjaw district, Arunachal Pradesh.
Vermicompost making training concludes: A skill development training program for the vermicompost producers concluded. During the 25 days training program, 22 participants, including unemployed rural youth, farm women and students participated.

73,000 students dropped out after I Pre-University: Around 73,500 students in Karnataka, Bengaluru dropped out after I Pre-University during 2019-20. They accounted for 11% of the total students who joined I PU in the academic year 2018-19.
